Newborn photography for Utah County families
The first few weeks with a new baby can feel like a blur. My newborn sessions are designed to slow things down and create beautiful photographs without expecting your baby—or your family—to follow a perfect schedule.
I photograph families throughout Utah County, including Lehi, American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Orem, Provo, Spanish Fork and surrounding communities. Sessions are relaxed, guided and built around feeding, soothing and whatever your baby needs that day.
Studio or stay home—you have both options
My photography studio is located in downtown Ogden. Utah County families who want a posed studio newborn session are welcome to come to the studio. If you'd rather stay home with your new baby, I travel throughout Utah County for relaxed in-home newborn photography.

Studio or in-home newborn photography?
Both options are baby-led, but they create a different experience and a different style of gallery. The best choice depends on whether you want a polished studio look or photographs that include your home and everyday family environment.
Downtown Ogden
Studio Newborn Photography
Studio sessions take place in my downtown Ogden photography studio and are best for families who love softly posed newborn portraits, neutral colors and a wider variety of baby-focused setups.
Wraps, blankets, newborn pieces and posing supplies are provided, and full studio sessions also include photographs with parents and siblings.
Throughout Utah County
In-Home Newborn Photography
I travel to your Utah County home for a relaxed lifestyle session that incorporates your baby, family and the spaces that are part of this season of life.
I bring professional lighting and simple newborn swaddles, then guide your family through natural interaction while working around feeding, soothing and breaks.
What makes the newborn experience different?
Baby-led pacing
Feeding, changing and soothing breaks are expected. Your baby does not need to arrive asleep or stay asleep for the entire session.
Guided from beginning to end
I guide parents and siblings through posing so you aren't left wondering where to stand, what to do with your hands or how to hold baby.
Timeless editing
My style is clean and true-to-color, with neutral styling and minimal distractions so your baby remains the focus of the photographs.
Family photographs included
Parents and siblings are included with full studio and in-home newborn sessions, so you don't have to choose between baby portraits and family photographs.

In-Home Service Area
Serving newborn families throughout Utah County
In-home newborn sessions are available throughout Utah County and allow your family to stay comfortable at home while I bring the photography experience to you.
When should Utah County families book newborn photos?
If possible, reach out while you're still pregnant. Your due date gives us a starting point, and we can adjust the actual session date once baby arrives.
Newborns don't all arrive on schedule, and they don't all need to be photographed at exactly the same age. Very young babies often sleep more deeply, but older newborns can still have beautiful sessions with wrapped portraits, awake expressions and natural interaction with parents.
Baby is already here?
Reach out anyway. I regularly work with families after baby has arrived, and we can choose the session option that makes the most sense based on baby's age, your recovery and current availability.
Newborn Session Prep
Wondering how to prepare for newborn photos?
I've put together a complete newborn photography guide covering feeding, what to bring, what to wear, siblings, studio vs. in-home sessions and what happens if your baby doesn't sleep.

Utah County newborn photography FAQ
Is your newborn studio located in Utah County?
No. My studio is located in downtown Ogden. Utah County families are welcome to travel to the studio for posed newborn sessions, or I can come to your home in Utah County for an in-home lifestyle session.
Do you travel to Lehi, Orem and Provo for newborn photos?
Yes. I offer in-home newborn photography throughout Utah County, including Lehi, American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Orem, Provo, Spanish Fork and surrounding communities.
When should we book newborn photography?
Booking during pregnancy is recommended so we can reserve space around your due date. Once baby arrives, we'll adjust the actual session date as needed.
What if my newborn is already a few weeks old?
That's okay. Older newborns can still be photographed beautifully. Depending on baby's age, the gallery may include more wrapped portraits, awake expressions and natural interaction rather than only sleepy poses.
What's the difference between studio and in-home sessions?
Studio sessions are more posed and styled with neutral newborn setups. In-home sessions are lifestyle-focused and incorporate your family and home. Both are relaxed, guided and baby-led.
Can parents and siblings be included?
Yes. Parents and siblings are included with full studio and in-home newborn sessions. The Newborn Mini is a shorter baby-only studio option.
How many images will we receive?
Full studio, in-home and Fresh 48 sessions include all professionally edited images from your final gallery. The Newborn Mini includes 10 professionally edited images.
How long does gallery delivery take?
Newborn galleries are typically delivered within 2–3 weeks through a private online gallery with high-resolution downloads.
Still expecting?
You can also explore my Utah maternity photography sessions for studio or outdoor portraits before baby arrives.
