After both of my scheduled models had to cancel for medical reasons, I was able to find a last minute replacement and she was awesome! She was ready within 3 hours and she was just gorgeous! The weather has been much warmer lately which is good so my model didn't freeze her tail off :) I was pressed on time for this session but I plan on returning to explore more of what Antelope Island has to offer for photography sessions!
I had my first newborn session this past weekend and my little model was a dream to work with! She slept the whole time and she posed easily! And isn't she gorgeous with all that hair!!
I am excited to get back to working with all the sweet babies!
In order for people to know my work here, I decided to start doing model calls. I had a couple ladies picked out for a maternity session in the snow. I had this vision and was hoping it would work. I scouted out a couple locations but they didn't fit the look. Finally I settled on a location further from me - Little Cottonwood. The drive is close to an hour from my home but it is well worth it! Just driving up the mountain side made my anticipation rise as I saw all the beauty of this area. I won't lie... I did fall in deep snow a couple of times but that is just the southerner in me who has no clue what to do in snow!
The results were phenomenal! I had so much fun and learned a lot about winter sessions. My models were very easy going and understanding so I was super happy! I think these pictures are amazing... but you tell me!
My husband got a job in Salt Lake City so we moved our entire family (5 people, 2 dogs, and 2 guinea pigs) to Utah. I am so excited to start my photography business back up here in Utah. There are so many areas for gorgeous pictures and there are actual seasons! I am used of hot, hot, more hot! Needless to say, we are out of our element here but we are loving it! Loving the snow, the view, and the people!
