Family Session FAQ

Everything you need to know before picture day

How many people can be included?
Immediate family is included in the session price. Extended family coverage can be added—just ask for a custom quote.
What should we wear?
Neutrals and soft tones photograph beautifully. Coordinate without matching; avoid large logos and neon colors. I’m happy to help finalize outfits.
Where do sessions take place?
I shoot across Salt Lake City, Davis County, and Utah County—mountain overlooks, parks, downtown, or your home. I’ll recommend locations based on your style.
How long is a family session?
Sessions are about 60 minutes to keep things relaxed and kid-friendly, with time for candid moments and posed portraits.
When will we receive our photos?
Hand-edited, high-resolution images are delivered via online gallery within 2–3 weeks (often sooner). You’ll have full printing + personal rights, and can order pro lab prints right from your gallery (optional).
What if the weather is bad?
Utah weather can change quickly—no worries! We’ll reschedule or choose a covered/indoor location to keep everyone comfortable.
How do we reserve a date?
A signed contract and non-refundable deposit are required to hold your date. The remaining balance is due on session day.
