Studio Newborn Photo Session

This 2-3 hour in studio session focuses solely on posed newborn portraits. The session also includes images with just mom and dad.

Home Visit Newborn Session

This 2-3 hour session takes place in the comfort of your own home, where I bring all props, lighting, and equipment needed. Sibling and Family Photos included

Fresh 48 Session

This 1 hour session takes places while you are still in the hospital within the first 48 hours after baby's birth.

Questions and Tips for Your Newborn Photography Session

When is the best time to book a posed or in home newborn photoshoot?

The best time to capture squishy, sweet, sleepy newborn portraits is between 5-20 days old, so it is best to book a session before they are born. This means that I will have availability during that time and you won't miss out on capturing those precious moments.
When you book, it is ideal to schedule for one week PAST your due date. I just ask that you keep in touch around the time baby is due so we can adjust the date if need be.

What date should I request for my newborn's session?

I advise that you book your session a few months prior due to availability. The best date to choose is one week past your due date. We will stay in touch as that date nears and we can adjust the day/time as needed.

What to expect during a newborn photography session?

On the day of your newborn photoshoot, we will spend anywhere from 1-3 hours together. Not all of this time is taking photos, however. I set aside time for baby to take breaks, if need be. Sometimes we need to feed or change baby's diaper, or just to get some cuddles from you. We work at your baby's pace so no need to worry how well your baby will behave because I give them all the time they need.

Do I need to bring anything to the session?

No, I provide all the props, swaddles, and fabrics. All I ask is that you bring a diaper bag with essentials for baby and any outfits/props you want to incorporate into your session (optional).

How many people can attend the session?

I only allow two adults for my Mini and Posed Newborn Session. No children or other adults. However, anyone is welcome to be there for the Travel to Me Session.

How do I view my newborn's photos?

I love editing these newborn photos so you will see sneak peaks either same day or one day after your session!! Then around two weeks after your session (depending), I will send you the newborn gallery through your email. From that email, you will be provide a link to view to view all of your newborn's fully edited portraits online and the comfort of your own home. Make sure you share this gallery with family and friends too! You can conveniently download every photo directly to your computer.
